About The Role:
We’re looking for an Accounting staff to join our team! As an Accounting staff, you will be responsible for managing construction costs, preparing financial reports, and overseeing construction projects from start to finish. If you are a detail-oriented individual with a background in accounting and a passion for construction, we want to hear from you!
What You Will Do:
- Maintain and update accounting records and files
- Analyze budgets and create expense reports
- Maintain and track all costs related to construction projects
- Review contractors’ bills for accuracy and completeness, and approve payment requests
- Process invoices, requisitions, and purchase orders
- Review, approve, and process payroll, expense reports, and time cards
- Research and resolve invoice and billing disputes with contractors
- Audit all accounts against contractual terms, budgets, and time schedules
- Review and approve vendor invoices and subcontractor bills
- Maintain files on general ledger, assets, and mills
- Maintain files on contracts, warranties, insurance policies
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration from a reputable university.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably from a Property company.
- Strong knowledge of accounting, including cost controls, job costing, and profit and loss accounting.
- Ability to understand complex billing and job costing concepts.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Maximum 35 years old.
